Run for the Zoo 2018

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Run for the Zoo which will be held at Lincoln Park Zoo on Sunday, June 3! Pre-race volunteer shifts are also available on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2. This is our 40th annual Run, so it's an especially exciting year!

Volunteers ages 14+ are eligible to participate in this event. To register for a shift, please check the box that appears to the left of each job available. To review details about each shift available, click the description to learn more about each role. Once you've registered for a shift, you will receive a confirmation email. We will send you an additional email reminder one week before your scheduled shift that will contain all the important details you'll need to know about the Run for the Zoo. All volunteers will receive a special t-shirt, and we'll provide race day volunteers with coffee and bagels!

WHAT TO DO IF YOU'RE REGISTERING ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS OR BRINGING A VOLUNTEER GROUP-PLEASE READ BELOW!

If you are bringing volunteers in addition to yourself, we will need you to provide the name of each individual participating with you when you are signing up (you do not need to enter the email addresses of everyone participating with you if you have already provided your own email address as a contact for your group). If you would like to sign-up a group but do not yet have your confirmed list of volunteers, please email volunteer@lpzoo.org with the shift you would like to sign up for, along with how many volunteers you plan to bring, and your company name.

CANCELING A SHIFT

If you need to cancel your shift in advance of this event, you may do so by returning to the sign-up link and clicking "Already volunteering? Check your status" to review and remove yourself from the shift. If you need to cancel your shift within one week of your scheduled shift, please email us at volunteer@lpzoo.org
